Commonly known as "bugs," the phylum Arthropoda encompasses the Hexapods (Insects and Allies), Millipedes, Centipedes, Amphipods and Isopods. There are over 2000 insect families on earth and over 1 million described species. Let's hope I don't get too carried away with "bug" photography!
