Lunar Eclipse

Beginning on February 20 I was lucky to be able to spend a whole week house/pet-sitting for some future neighbors in Cochise County (where we will live when our house gets built). Fortunately this coincided with a total lunar eclipse which began in the early evening on the day I arrived. The position of the moon couldn’t have been better — it rose right over the Dragoon Mountains. Here’s one of my attempts to capture the eclipse when it was just about complete. Photographing both the light and dark side of the moon at night is quite a challenge!
