He’s Back!

(click on a photo to enlarge)

A very nice surprise yesterday morning as I stepped out onto the patio and Mr. Lucifer was at the feeder. My first thought was — could this be the same individual that appeared at the feeder last August 9 and remained for 23 days? I’m guessing it is because Lucifer Hummingbirds are quite uncommon this far north of the Mexico border. It will be interesting to see how long he stays or better yet if a female shows up. One can only hope.
